Mary Kate Carr is a writer and pop culture junkie from Philadelphia, PA. Her biggest dream is to work in television, because in the words of Kenneth Parcell, "There are only two things I love in this world: everybody and television."

Mary Kate recently graduated cum laude from Emerson College with a BA in Visual & Media Arts: Writing for Film & TV and a minor in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. At Emerson, she took courses in screenwriting, television production, and media criticism.

She hopes to parlay productive internship experiences with Entertainment Weekly, NBC Universal Cable Productions, and X-Factor Films (now Blue Fever) into a career working with people who love watching, creating, and talking about media as much as she does.

Mary Kate's favorite things are sitcoms, conspiracy theories, and pizza.
